Engaging.
Great book about the perserverance of children and the imprint a parent makes on a child even after the parent has passed. The title says it all. It’s based on a true story of survival against odds.

I love this book. it warmed my heart.
This book is about the struggles of family and survival. About life and its gains and losses and a mother’s fierce love for her children, family and friends. Her characters made me laugh and cry. I felt like I was dancing with them at Joyland. I loved the historical view of what life was like in times gone by. I will recommend this book to anyone who wants a feel good book.
